Corey Comperatore was not only a dedicated veteran and community leader, but also a loving husband, father and role model.

His service in the US Army Reserves and dedication as a project engineer reflected his commitment to duty and excellence. Corey's involvement in the Cabot Church and his leadership in the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department exemplified his selfless devotion to his community.

Corey's life reminds us of the importance of unity and service in our nation. His kindness and courage touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and integrity. My prayers are with Corey's family, friends and all who knew him.
We finished the 2024-2025 state budget last night. It’s far from a perfect budget but with Republicans in control of the Senate and Democrats in control of the House, there was a lot of necessary compromising in order to get it done.

It’s too much to post, but here is a link to some budget highlights: https://www.pasenategop.com/2024-25-state-budget/

Now that we are done in Harrisburg until September, I will hopefully see many of you as my work continues in the district. :)

Meet Senator Kim Ward

Senator Kim Ward currently serves as the Senate Pro Tempore. She is the first woman in the history of the Pennsylvania Legislature to serve as Senate Pro Tempore and Senate Majority Leader in either the Pennsylvania House or Senate. In 2008, Senator Ward won the Pennsylvania 39th Senatorial District seat and was the first woman ever elected to that seat. She was re-elected in 2012 and 2016, and most recently in 2020.
